Please act responsibly. Maintain physical distancing from staff and other customers, use hand sanitizer and have a mask available for use when covid restrictions apply. If you have any Covid symptoms, or have been exposed to someone who has symptoms, do not visit us at this time. If we feel people are not acting responsibly we will eliminate kayak rentals during the pandemic. 

COVID related guidelines have been integrated into our procedures:

• If you dont return to the dock at the end of your booking time you will be Charged a Late fee if causing  delay for next customers
• Sorry, we cannot hold your personal belongings (wallets, phones, etc). Be self sufficient and bring a waterproof drybag for your items that can be placed in seat back pocket
• If intoxicated we will cancel your reservation with out refund  
• Site Staff does Not need to give any instructions as they are Not instructors or any information regarding safety on the water all information is on our website
• Do not LAND on the shoreline, no mud in canoes, self clean if needed.  
• Do not lean back or put excessive strain on the seats as it can result in breaking the seat straps
• Do not ram into dock upon return as it can result in breaking LED’s
• Do not touch LED power box once turned on and placed in back pocket zipped closed
• Stay Clear from all vessel's on the lake while paddling 
• Be sure to have experience if renting a single seat kayak 

Hand Sanitizing and Equipment disinfecting protocol is in place, staff will review the procedure with you when you check in for the rent

Price includes paddles and lifejackets (PFD). We do encourage you to bring your own if possible.

We can take Visa, MC, ...no CASH please.

Equipment: Our kayaks are a standard 11’-1” polycarbonate with 2 seats and 7’-9” for Single seat. Double Seat Kayaks can fit 2 adults and 2 small children no more than 400lbs combined weight and Single Seat kayak 1 adult  no more than 400lbs. 

You may take a maximum of 2 people and paddles and PFD's for those 2 people (not rotating various people in and out of the boat).

To prevent capsizing, ensure proper balance in the boat by distributing weight evenly.

Safety Notes: Yes – kayaks do tip over. If you are not prepared for this to happen you should not go out. Windy conditions are also a factor, making it easier to tip. All paddlers must be confident they can swim if the kayak does tip over and takes full responsibility if a kayak is lost and must replace it with or without damage insurance.

• Stay close to shore, incase you tip and need to swim to shore

Clothing suggestions: We suggest you wear clothing that is not restrictive in case you do get wet.

Please note: 

• Rentals are booked online only with major credit card Photo id upon arrival must match credit card made for booking. 
• No walk ins are taken. 
• Customer to inspect kayak and seats before and after for any damage.

With only 5 double seat and 2 single seat kayaks, You can book ahead for those very warm, sunny weekend afternoons for better chance  on availability if wanted. Also required lifejackets (PFD) to be worn at all times while on the water.
